Just a few photos

Our time in the Netherlands has been so precious. We have had the opportunity to reconnect with many friends (including two folks on our prayer team!) that I made while I lived here six years ago. I have valued the opportunity to share my "Shelter Christian Youth Hostel" (http://www.shelter.nl/) world with Jill as we traveled through this flat, green wonderland.

While visiting Gerrit in Amersfoort we sat down in these huge bean bags in the town square as we watched a game of tennis. Good memories.

We have been on many many trains...what a wonderful way to travel. Somehow, we ended up in the "silent car" on this train. Eline kept us entertained with little trinkets from her purse. All in silence of course.

We explored the beautiful, old buildings in Utrecht with our good friend, Eline. It has been a good time to recharge, reconnect and think about our new transition.

  1. okay, the picture of the 2 of you on the quiet train is just too funny, especially since Jill has probably 'shushed' students a thousand times in her teaching career using a similar gesture. and i love the giant bean bags in the town square.
